About the Role

Menlo Security is looking for a talented Principal Engineer to join our Frontend team in Bangalore. You will be contributing technical leadership and mentorship for the team that extends and supports management tools for our world-class remote browser technology on desktop and mobile platforms which is serving millions of users on Menlos worldwide cloud. The successful candidate will guide and mentor the team in the architecture design development deployment and monitoring of our portals for our customer administrators and internal configuration portal.

The management team is highly experienced and collegial with a strong design and code review culture. We encourage candidates with experience in browser technology areas to apply if you feel your skill set can be applied to new challenges.

The position is full-time and based in our Bangalore India office.

Your Experience

Requirements for the role include:

• 10 years of experience working for a software company in a developer role

• Deep understanding of TypeScript including its type system and advanced features.

• Extensive experience with Angular 2 versions

• Strong knowledge of modern frontend development practices including testing (Jest) build tools (Webpack) and UI/UX principles.

• Experience designing and implementing scalable web application architectures.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and API design principles.

• Proven experience leading and mentoring software development teams.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g. Scrum Kanban).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to provide technical guidance perform code reviews and debug complex issues.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proactive ambitious with a strong ability to learn new technologies.

• Highly organized and detail oriented.
