Job Summary
KRQE is on the hunt for a creative go-getter to help us launch brand-new original (non-news) programming! If you love to create shoot host and produce content that connects with people this is your chance to shine. Bonus points if youre a natural storyteller! We also need someone who can keep things organized and on track as our projects roll out across multiple platforms. No news experience required just bring your creativity and energy.
- Produce content for broadcast across streaming service television digital and social platforms.
- Shoot stories to go into shows on our streaming service.
- Monitor all shows with release dates on all platforms.
- Edit video and prepare packages for all screens.
- Write edit and post stories to the station website and other eMedia platforms.
- Interact with viewers and audiences through social media engagement.
- Collaborate with anchors reporters and production staff to deliver impactful storytelling.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Skills:
- Hands-on experience with cameras editing producing and writing.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in film television or news production.
- Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong judgment with the ability to balance multiple topics at once.
- Proficiency in production systems editing software and standard office equipment.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Flexibility to work any shift including evenings weekends and holidays.
