SUMMARY:
Under the administrative and clinical supervision of the Director of Lorain Programs the Clinical Supervisor for the Child and Adolescent Group Therapy Services (CAGS) program is responsible for providing clinical supervision and training to assigned staff members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  1. Provide administrative and clinical supervision to the program and staff including but not limited to hiring supervision evaluation disciplinary actions and termination of employees.
  2. Provide clinical supervision and trainings to CAGS Staff and Field Placement Students.
  3. Facilitate the implementation of clinical planning for clients as designed by the treatment team.
  4. Assure all documents are up-to-date including but not limited to: PDE ITP ICMP.
  5. Collaborate with parents case managers school personnel and other professionals on an as-needed basis to facilitate clients treatment progress.
  6. Review and approve daily clinical progress notes of CAGS staff and Field Placement Students in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  7. Review all proposed group curricula ensuring that all curricula are based upon individual client treatment goals and supported by treatment plans.
  8. Participate in research activities to provide for the evaluation of the programs effectiveness and consumer satisfaction.
  9. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  10. Co-facilitate daily Day Treatment Group sessions as needed due to staff call-offs or additional assistance required.
  11. Support Day Treatment groups and share responsibility for whereabouts and safety of all clients with other CAGS staff on duty.
  12. Attend relevant clinical meetings outside of CAGS treatment plan reviews that support client progress in CAGS.
  13. Participate in client transportation in emergencies as identified by the Transportation Coordinator or Director of Lorain Programs.
  14. Collaborate with members of each clients treatment team (guardian case managers school personnel and other professionals) as necessary to facilitate progress in treatment.
  15. Assist with the communication with Food Services to ensure clients receive and account for meals provided while at CAGS.
OTHER DUTIES:
  1. Attend scheduled staff meetings supervision and on-going training.
  2. All required trainings certifications and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  3. Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the clients treatment. All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.
  4. Assure that staff maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.
  5. Other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Education: Minimum Masters Degree in Social Work or related field.
  2. Licensure: Valid Ohio LISW or LPCC required. Supervisory designation strongly preferred.
  3. Skills/Competencies: Strong clinical skills including expertise in systemic family therapy crisis intervention family education behavioral interventions group work and substance abuse therapy.
  4. Experience: Proven experience in public relations community development and both clinical and administrative supervision.
  5. Must have experience in working with children adolescents and their families.
  6. Other: Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and driving record that meets the underwriting criteria of the Agencys insurance company. Must be approved by Bellefaire to transport clients in own vehicle.

The salary range for this position starts at $65000 annually for full-time employees.
