Job Summary
Human Resources Assistant
Salary: $23-$28/hr BOE
Schedule: Full-time M-F 8:00 AM-4:00 PM (On-site)
Location: Hilliard Ohio
Requirements of the HR role:
Proven experience in human resources preferably within a healthcare setting
Proficient in using Google Workspace tools (Google Drive Gmail Docs Sheets)
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Comfortable working in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Strong understanding of HR practices policies and labor laws
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors degree in HR Business Administration or related field preferred
About the HR role:
Coordinates an orientation program for all new employees including in-services training and other activities to maintain and improve staff competence
Assist with onboarding and orientation for new clinical and administrative staff
Ensures that all employees meet their mandatory training keeps records of in-services and files employees certificates of attendance in the employee personnel folder.
Maintain and update employee files certifications and training records
Ensures that all employees are meeting the performance expectations stated in the job descriptions by collaborating with the supervisors.
Ensures that all employees comply with the mandatory requirements for employment.
Support scheduling of mandatory training sessions health screenings and compliance checks
Provide administrative support during audits inspections or accreditation reviews
Maintains strict professional ethics confidentiality and privacy of all staff.
Attends outside meetings and/or conferences if needed.
Ensures compliance with all state federal and CHAP human resources regulatory requirements.
Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned by HR leadership
Reports to the Director of Human Resources
