Job Summary
Angott Search Group is proud to partner with a $6 billion regional bankin the search for a Risk Manager to join their growing team at the East Lansing headquarters.
Reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer this individual will play a key role in developing and enhancing the banks enterprise-wide risk management framework. The ideal candidate is analytical forward-thinking and naturally driven to understand how systems and processes connecttranslating complex ideas into practical effective risk management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Chief Risk Officer in advancing the banks risk management and governance structure
Monitor key risk metrics and provide reporting to senior leadership and the Board of Directors
Oversee vendor and model risk management programs ensuring appropriate controls and documentation
Align compliance audit and risk activities with the banks overall risk appetite
Utilize GRC platform to configure risk assessments controls and reporting dashboards
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Finance Risk Management or related field
Strong understanding of enterprise risk frameworks internal controls and regulatory environments
Excellent analytical communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with GRC or vendor management systems preferred
Financial services experience highly desired
