Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking applications for Clinical Midwife to join our Antenatal Clinic team in a permanent part timeday shift opportunity.
Based at our Springfield Community Clinics these roles will be part of a landmark moment in Queensland healthcare at Mater Hospital Springfield opening early 2026. As Maters newest public hospital this state of the art facility will meet the needs of the growing Greater Springfield region. With 174 public beds ICU maternity emergency and surgical services its set to care for over 200000 patients annually.
Salary range: $54.44 $58.30 per hour plus 12% superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15900access to many staff benefits!
What youll be doing
The Clinical Midwife (CM) performs all aspects of Nursing care with particular consideration to the physical emotional and spiritual needs of each patient/client in a safe effective and patient focussed manner. This clinical leadership role provides and supports the delivery of high-quality patient care where advanced clinical skills and knowledge underpin care coordination collaboration and communication within the Nursing and interdisciplinary team for excellence in patient outcomes.
The successful applicant will provide clinical midwifery leadership and management on aday-to-daybasis delegated by the NUM and deliver evidence-based care to women ranging from the care of normal low risk women through to complex obstetric medical and gynaecology care requiring an extensive multidisciplinary approach.
