Who is your future team

Test Services is a team within the Quality Assurance organization at Axis R&D in Lund. Our mission is to support the organization with expertise in areas of common strategic value. We host a group of engineers that developframeworks and infrastructure for efficient selection and execution of automated tests in our CI/CD pipelines. We also maintain tools and systems used in test management test planning and visualization. The team members interact with all parts of the development organization both those using our tools and systems and those who develop and operate the CI/CD pipelines. We continuously support and help our colleagues with guidelines and best practices when they are taking on new automation tasks.

What will you do here

Modern software development places emphasis on automating what is possible to automate. We are increasing our efforts to automate the process of demonstrating compliance to policies and regulations that Axis needs to adhere to.

Your primary task will be to develop an automation framework that will help the organization to continuously monitor the state of our products and solutions specifically with respect to requirements that are placed on us from industry and government. The role will include a combination of the following tasks:

• System design
• Implementation of services APIs tracing/logging solutions databases
• Deployment and maintenance of systems/services
• Support to development teams specifically regarding the technical aspects of continuous compliance automation
• Interaction with producers of input to the tool chain and consumers of the produced results
• Documentation and communication to the relevant stakeholders

The tools we are developing follow high standards when it comes to long term reliability maintainability and accessibility. As a member of the team you will be addressing all these attributes and contribute to our own development of best practices.

Who are we looking for

We are looking for someone who is curious and open to new challenges willing to explore andtakinginitiatives. You have a genuine interest in sharing and collaborating around new insights and ideas and helping others. Communicating in both Swedish and English comes natural to you.

We would love to hear that you have:

• A Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent
• A few years of experience from designing larger systems implementing databases and APIs
• Knowledge of Python Jenkins Docker Kibana/Grafana as well as version control systems such as GIT
• Knowledge of data serialization formats such as YAML and JSON
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

The following qualifications are a big plus:

• Experience from development and test of embedded systems and/or cloud services
• An understanding of networks and protocols like RTSP and HTTP

Development of our tools mainly takes place in a Linux environment with Python as the most commonly used language. Although your initial and primary task will be to work with the compliance automation framework it will be beneficial if you are open to take on other tasks withtime.
