This is a hands-on design role where youll use your technical expertise accuracy and initiative to deliver detailed civil drawings and documentation that drive real-world infrastructure projects. What Youll Do: Youll be the kind of person who: Civil Design and Documentation Provides drafting and design services across a variety of civil works projects from concept through to construction documentation. Prepares accurate design drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Civil 3D including: Base and Xref plans. Services concept designs. Earthworks plans. Erosion and sediment management plans. Geometric design for roads car parks and similar infrastructure. Pavement design (flexible and rigid). Stormwater drainage (pipes channels detention basins water quality systems). Sewerage and water reticulation layouts. As-constructed drawings and completion documentation packages. Prepares material summaries and bills of quantities to support project delivery. Project Coordination and Quality Delivery Confirms project scope data requirements and client expectations to ensure work is delivered accurately and efficiently. Reports weekly on job progress and hours spent ensuring alignment with budgets and deadlines Communicates proactively with managers clients and colleagues to maintain smooth project flow. Adheres to company quality processes and Business Management Systems striving to reduce rework and improve efficiency. Mentorship and Professional Development Supports the onboarding and ramp-up of junior drafters or team members through knowledge sharing and technical guidance. Participates actively in the Career Development and Training Plan committing to ongoing learning and professional growth. Demonstrates initiative in improving internal processes and promoting team collaboration. Requirements What You Bring: Were looking for someone who has: Skills & Knowledge Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written. Solid understanding of AutoCAD and good working knowledge of Civil 3D. Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in all technical deliverables. Experience 3 years experience in civil works design drafting or related engineering disciplines. Proven ability to manage design deliverables across multiple projects simultaneously. Strong understanding of civil infrastructure projects (roads drainage utilities subdivisions). Ability to work under limited supervision while maintaining high-quality output.
