In the scope of Metro Projects in Milano and Torino we are looking for an Urban ATC System Designer whose main responsabilities are:
- Collect and drive Customers requests
- Design ATC system both trackside and onboard and provide related documents (specification architecture interface etc.)
- Lead ATC Design Reviews
- Ensure the ATC configuration by application data or coding is performed regarding the process and ready for testing
- Investigate the Verification and Validation (V&V) test failures for corrective actions
- Investigate events and faults occuring during commercial service in order to identify the root cause
- Define the most suitable T&C strategy and follow Baseline deployment on field
The following skills are associated to the profile:
- Good level of English and technical background
- Basic knowledge about ATC equipment and functionalities
- Basic knowledge of traffic management principles
- Good knowledge of DFQ cycle
- Global system view preferably in metro context
- Ability to work in team
- Flexibility and availability to travel mainly in Italy
- Good communications skill and capability to interface the customer
The position could be based in the site of Bologna Firenze or Roma.
