Why does this role exist in the organisation
Working in the Compliance and Risk Team. You will be working as a Senior analyst in delivering the day-to-day operations of a wide range of compliance processes being delivered from the service centre. This is a generalist role where you would be expected to get involved with all areas of the compliance and risk function.
Key accountabilities

- You will be working alongside the C&R Manager to ensure the integrity of the day-to-day operations of a wide range of Compliance processes being delivered from the service centre.
- This is a generalist role where you would be expected to get involved with all areas of the compliance and risk function such as Corporate Due Diligence Transaction Monitoring PEP/Sanctions Checks.
- To gather information from various sources for countries entities and/or individuals by reference to a pre-determined suite of reference material for analysis and submission or escalation for further analysis and judgement. Monitor pre-set levels and parameters related to financial transactions identify behaviours that deviate from the norm and escalate as required.
- Undertake analysis of Country hits entities and/or names of individuals/investigation of transactions within the process instruction and by judgement assess the legitimacy of customer profile and transactions.
- Make appropriate recommendation supported by robust evidence a documented rationale to Sign Off
- If apparent during the review of a referral submit a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR)
- To build good working relationships with the wider C&R team and partners.
- To assist with C&R process improvements to ensure the performance of services.
- Assist in the handling of tasks received from inception to resolution as and when required.
- Ensure adherence to process flows and set procedures and Service Level Agreements
- Should adhere to company policies and ensure to maintain confidentiality in handling customer data.
- Proactively contribute to ongoing development and process improvements.
Experience and personal qualities
Describe the work experience (nature and time) and personal qualities (skills behaviours and attitudes) that would be required from candidates.
- Graduation Any Graduate-Specialization
- 3-5 years experience in Anti-Money Laundering/ KYC Compliance & Risk or Shared Service Set Up
- Previous experience of Accreditation Sanction Screening Transaction Monitoring Suspicious Activity Reporting Fraud Analysis experience is desirous.
- The candidate needs to demonstrate a banking and compliance knowledge in AML/KYC/On boarding related issues
- Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal
- The ability to manage across multiple time zones within a fast-paced and diverse cultural environment
- Should be a professional self-motivated deadline-driven team player able to work in an ever-changing environment;
- Strong creative problem solving skills and analytical thinking
- Flexibility and responsive to changing situations; adaptable.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
- Ability to deal with customers and employees at all levels within the organisation
