2-3 month contract with a local authority
Summary
- This role involves maintaining a clean safe and hygienic environment throughout the school premises ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. The position is a 2-3 month contract with a local authority focusing on providing a healthy environment for students and staff.
Responsibilities
- Clean classrooms corridors offices and other school facilities.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Sweep mop vacuum and polish floors.
- Clean windows mirrors and other glass surfaces.
- Replenish supplies such as soap toilet paper and paper towels.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the site manager.
- Follow health and safety regulations and school policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning role preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS required (paper copy must be presented on arrival at school).
Additional Information
- Working hours: 15 hours per week Monday to Friday (15:30 to 18:30).
- Location: Sandlings Primary School - IP12 3TD.
