Role overview
Due to continued growth in our client base and project portfolio an exciting opportunity has arisen within our Heavy Industry Team. We are seeking an experienced Consultant to manage client relationships lead internal project delivery teams and oversee the successful delivery of complex projects ensuring service levels and deliverables meet and exceed client expectations.
The role will be based in Perth with travel to client offices interstate and operations in regional areas.
Role responsibilities
- Lead diagnostic assessments across supply chain operations and procurement to identify strategic opportunities and drive impactful change
- Guide and support delivery teams as the Project Manager fostering collaboration and accountability
- Lead multiple high complexity projects and be responsible for projects being delivered to agreed timelines and outcomes meeting client expectations
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the company
- Support Partners of the business in sales and business development
- Contribute to the high performing flexible and inclusive team culture.
About you
We are seeking a seasoned consulting professional with strong leadership capability commercial acumen and a passion for driving operational excellence within the heavy industry sector. You are a strategic thinker who can balance hands-on delivery with developing people and guiding teams.
Key qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of in consulting and or industry experience for large mining or heavy industry companies
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in complex operational environments with expertise in supply chain strategy operational excellence and procurement transformation
- Advanced skills in developing major services scopes of work
- Ability to interpret data and quickly identify opportunities
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Advanced meeting management and negotiation skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
- Collaborative mindset and ability to build rapport quickly
- Proactive adaptable and solutions-oriented.
