Job Summary

Monroe Health Center is seeking aFull-time Nurse (LPN or RN) working in our Pediatric Department in Union WV. Position requires current West Virginia nursing license and a current BLS certification. The candidate must have a passion for childrens health and be an effective communicator as educating and communicating with pediatric patients and their family members is a vital part of being successful in this role. Experience working in a pediatric setting is ideal. The candidatemust be proficient with Electronic Medical Records software/computer skills.

Responsibilities include taking and recording vital signs and symptoms preparing and administering medications and vaccines lab testing assisting the Pediatrician during check-ups exams and minor procedures. Must possess patience and compassion. Being well organized and the ability to multi-task in a busy environment is a must.
