Job Summary

Job ID: 40626 Location: Airoli Maharashtra India

To ensure global compliance with dangerous goods transport by managing classification packaging and documentation per regulations and supporting sites to achieve safe and efficient logistics operations.


Responsibilities

Manage global dangerous goods classification and labelling by IMDG IATA ADR DOT and UN TDG regulations.

Maintain and update product safety data in the SAP database.

Support production sites in selecting compliant packaging for international and national transport.

Develop stakeholder and customer support networks lead knowledge transfer and training initiatives.

Establish and maintain standardized transport safety documentation (SOPs process maps guidelines).

Provide timely regulatory updates to global project leaders and teams.

Contribute to achieving global transport safety KPIs.

Proactive approach to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing


Requirements

Masters degree in chemistry or equivalent studies

4 years of experience in Dangerous Goods Management within Product Stewardship in a global or multinational company.

Proficiency in SAP EHS (Environment Health & Safety) and WINS systems.

Strong knowledge of IMDG IATA-1 ADR DOT and UN TDG transport regulations.

Ability to interpret safety test reports for chemical products (advantageous).

Attention to detail and process compliance mindset.

Analytical and problem-solving abilities for regulatory challenges.
