Electrician

Altera Recruitment Group is partnered with an established company within the water sector that is expanding its electrical division and is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing maintaining servicing and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment across branches and customer sites. This role requires practical electrical engineering expertise and the ability to work independently safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities of the Electrician include:

Install maintain service and repair electrical and mechanical equipment to industry standards and legislative requirements.
Prepare reports estimates and provide safety advice for equipment and repairs.
Ensure high standards of housekeeping including vehicles and work areas.
Follow and contribute to Risk Assessments Method Statements and health & safety procedures.
Communicate effectively with managers colleagues and customers regarding schedules quality and service expectations.

Skills & Experience

JIB Qualified Electrician with ECS Gold Card eligibility (18th edition) and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations.
Proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical work including working with mechanical/electrical systems.
Strong technical understanding and ability to read schematics drawings and specifications.
Full UK driving licence.
Excellent problem-solving communication and record-keeping skills.
