Who are we looking for

GHD North America is seeking a Lead Transmission & Distribution (T&D)to establish a grid capability that enablesClean Powergrowth acrossinterconnectionsandgrid modernizationprograms.
You will focus onsubstation and line designpower system planning and studiesandinterconnection services while closely connecting withBESS WindandHydro/PHESpursuits.

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of duties and will see you involved in:

• Stand up a scalableT&Doffering emphasizingowners engineer studies/FEEDanddetailed designforrenewable interconnectionsandgridmodernization; developstandardized design packages and workflowsdelivered viaGlobal Collaboration Centres.
• Leadprimary and secondary substationdesign; definespecifications scopes calculations and reports; manageQAof design deliverables.
• Builddistribution designcapability foroverhead and undergroundnetworks; deliverconcept/detailed designsandcost estimates.
• Leadpursuit strategywithutilities transmission developersandrenewable IPPs; integrate withClean Powerleadership andGlobal Collaboration Centres to drive efficiency and scale.

What you bring to the team:

• 1215 yearsinT&D(utility or consulting) includingHV substation/line designandgrid studies; experience integratinginverterbased resources/BESShighly desirable.
• Provenframeworkandprogram managementwithutilities/transmission companies; strongclient communicationandmentoringtrackrecord.

The successful candidate will also have to meet the following requirements:

• . (electrical)withPE/. (or eligibility); deep knowledge ofNorth American interconnection standardsandprotection/controls; familiarity withconstruction/commissioningpractices.
• Ability to coordinatedistributed teams/Global Collaboration Centres; commitment toHSE qualityandrigorous design assurance.

What we expect from you:

• LeadT&D pursuits and delivery; enablehybrid interconnections; embedsafety quality and commercial rigoracross teams; travel as needed.
• Develop and maintainstandard libraries QA checklistsandstudy/design templatesto improve productivity and consistency across North America.
