College Intern Compliance & Performance Monitoring ()

BWCs core hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm however daily start/end times may vary based on operational need across BWC departments. Most positions perform work on-site at one of BWCs seven offices across the state. BWC offers flextime work schedules that allow an employee to start the day as early as 7:00am or as late as 8:30am. Flex-time schedules are based on operational need and require supervisor approval.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Learns audit concepts accounting and auditing principles and various state rules laws and regulations.
• Assists in data analysis and research of current industry standards as they apply to current risk areas.
• Conducts and assists with monitoring reviews for MCOs PBM SURWSP and any other assigned areas.
• Attends on-site audits for hands-on experience for conducting external audits

Projected Schedule:
A maximum of 29 hours per week. The schedule is flexible and will fall between the hours of 8am-5pm Monday - Friday onsite in person.

Qualifications:
Must currently be enrolled in an accredited higher education program majoring in finance accounting public health nursing business or a similar discipline.
