Our challenge

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead our cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies with a proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion while fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other accordance with law the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte NC is$100k - $102k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Apply Agile Scrum and project management methodologies to effectively plan execute and deliver projects aligned with business goals.
• Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning Daily Stand-ups Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Manage product and sprint backlogs prioritize work and utilize tools like Jira Azure DevOps or Rally to track progress and visual dashboards such as burndown charts.
• Identify and remove team impediments to ensure smooth progress and continuous delivery.
• Coordinate project activities track progress manage risks and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners Developers QA teams and Business stakeholders to ensure comprehensive understanding of requirements and expectations.
• Monitor team performance metrics such as velocity sprint burndown and capacity to drive improvements and optimize processes.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including status reports risk logs RAID logs and change requests to ensure transparency and compliance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience 8 years excel as a Project Manager and/or Scrum Master in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum Kanban and other project management frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Agile management tools like Jira Azure DevOps or Rally.
• Excellent facilitation communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of project documentation standards and risk management processes.

Preferred but not required:

• Certification in Scrum (CSM PSPO) Agile (PMI-ACP) or similar is a plus.
• Experience working in complex or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technical concepts.
