Description

The Occupancy Planner will support workplace strategies on various projects and assignments. You will be part of a planning team that solves occupancy and space issues within the framework of the workplace program guidelines and metrics. You will interact with our clients internal CRE (Corporate Real Estate) team and Line of Business partners. You will also work as part of a diverse and integrated team delivering a modern workplace including space and occupancy planning move planning and project management. Well expect you to work independently and manage your time to meet deadlines.

Relationship Management / Delivery

  • Building relationships with your end user customers will be key to understanding
  • their business needs promoting workplace solutions and concepts to them and resolving their workplace issues.
  • Youll be on point to answer questions about the workplace program space and occupancy allocations and utilization for your assigned buildings or business units.
  • Youll be familiar with the workplace at each site and use that knowledge to manage and resolve requests.
  • To be successful in this role you should be able to see the small moving parts that make up the big picture and effectively communicate and collaborate with our move
  • coordination team to help plan strategic migration schedules and tactical moves.
  • Youll keep on top of things as youll often need to reorganize your time day to day to deal with your teams changing necessities and requests.

Occupancy Planning Expertise

  • Youre able to effectively gather the customers workplace requirements/scope by asking the right questions and actively listening to understand the underlying
  • business needs.
  • Youll need to manage space requests and move work orders to ensure timely completion and regulatory compliance.
  • Youll proactively develop space solutions including stacking plans block plans allocation plans and/or adjacency diagrams.
  • Creative and analytical thinking is natural to you enabling you to aggregate data from multiple sources and provide options for client decision-making.
  • Youll partner with a wide variety of teammates that will depend on the work you do.
  • Youll work on a diverse range of projects spanning co-location scenario planning modern workplace transformation space densification and restacking for existing
  • and new properties to drive portfolio optimization
  • Youll develop block plans to convey future use of space and/or layouts using graphic tools e.g. AutoCAD.
  • Your participation in the development of the business case for real estate action will ensure the team considers business requirements client programs/initiatives time
  • constraints and projected demand for space.
  • Youre accurate and thorough with your scope documentation including options for pricing execution plans and handoff to project management.

Workplace Analytics

  • Report on workplace utilization building data organizational data and occupancy
  • metrics at the campus metro or regional level using business intelligence dashboards CAFM/IWMS MS Excel.
  • Manage allocations and data accuracy using a CAFM/IWMS database.
  • Ensure all seat assignments comply with adjacency requirements and deliver timely resolution of non-compliant seat assignments.
  • Perform physical space audits/walkthroughs as required to ensure the success of relocation projects.

Job Specifications:

  • A working knowledge of occupancy utilization workplace strategy office design principles and trends such as the mobile or collaborative workplace; literacy in reading and interpreting floor plans
  • Great relationship-building skills and a client experience focus
  • Responsiveness and initiative to ensure project commitments and goals are accomplished on time
  • Highly organized with strong skills in managing client information project details priorities and deadlines consistently demonstrating a high level of performance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to understand complex ideas and communicate them to others on the account
  • Knowledge in utilization data analysis; gathering analyzing and interpreting data
  • Familiar with desk-sharing concepts and methodologies Advanced skills in Microsoft
  • Excel (pivot table V-lookup charts formulas) and Microsoft PowerPoint (graphics
  • layouts storytelling)
  • Proficient in CAFM/IWMS database (i.e. FMS Manhattan Tririga Archibus or similar) and graphic tools (i.e. Adobe SketchUp AutoCAD or similar)
  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Possess a minimum of two years of professional experience in corporate real estate either as a vendor providing services to corporate clients or as an in-house
  • professional in a corporate setting with a focus on areas such as occupancy planning space management interior office design renovations furniture planning move coordination or related facilities functions.

Pay: $ $100000 - $118000 DOE

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicants education experience skills abilities geographic location and alignment with market data.

You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program.
