Job Summary

The Contracts Management Specialist is an individual contributor role who will be responsible for the end-to-end management review and administration of contracts that support the strategic and operational initiatives of the Value Management Office (VMO). This includes but is not limited to contracts for third-party human resources tools and software renewals managed services consulting engagements and other outsourced or strategic service providers. The role ensures that all contractual engagements align with internal policies legal standards procurement protocols and value-for-money principles..

Responsibilities and Duties

Contract Lifecycle Management

Draft review and manage contracts throughout their lifecyclefrom initiation and negotiation to renewal and closure.

Monitor contract expiration dates deliverables and renewal windows for proactive management.

Stakeholder Coordination

Work closely with Legal Procurement Finance HR and Vendor Management teams to ensure alignment of contractual obligations with organizational policies.

Serve as a key liaison between internal requestors and third-party vendors to resolve contractual issues.

Compliance and Risk Management

Ensure all contracts comply with applicable regulatory and internal governance requirements.

Identify escalate and mitigate potential risks or gaps in contractual arrangements.

Reporting and Documentation

Maintain a central repository of contracts and ensure documentation is up-to-date and audit-ready.

Generate periodic reports on contract status risks obligations and financial exposure.

Process Improvement

Recommend improvements to contract templates approval workflows and vendor engagement policies aligned with VMO goals of value delivery and operational efficiency.
