What Youll Do:
UIG is currently seeking a VSA Plant Manager located in Kingman AZ. As the sole UIG teammate responsible for this location the successful candidate is required to be proficient in air separation plant technology and have knowledge/aptitude in mechanical systems electrical systems instrumentation and process operation controls. The VSA Plant Manager must be self-motivated and demonstrate initiative in resolving issues planning completing required maintenance and managing site operations. This position requires 24/7 on-call availability. Occasionally overnight travel may be required for training and/or plant support activities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety health environmental and quality regulations.
- Oversee daily operations to meet production goals and optimize efficiency.
- Manage maintenance schedules and ensure equipment reliability.
- Perform routine maintenance on process equipment.
- Responsible for managing the plants operating budget.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
What Youll Bring:
- 5 years of experience in industrial gas or chemical plant operations and/or maintaining an industrial VSA and/or ASU.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and operational best practices.
- Experience with various software systems used at an ASU.
- A general understanding of and experience with instrumentation electrical and control systems.
- Experience with tools and equipment necessary for repairing and replacing mechanical electrical and electronic equipment.
- Experience working independently to troubleshoot diagnose and solve issues with process and plant equipment.
- Understanding of General Accounting Techniques.
