Take the lead in shaping Saabs future portfolio. As Portfolio Manager you will turn strategic vision into actionable plans ensuring our products align with both current and emerging defense needs. This is your opportunity to make a real impact in a complex fast-moving environment.
Your role
As our next Portfolio Manager you will lead the work to aggregate product plans of the product lifecycles from identified opportunity to end-of-service across the entire portfolio within the Business Area Dynamics. Youll shape both history and future of defense in an environment where adaptability managing complexity and collaboration are key drivers of success.
Key responsibilities:
Steer the business area in the right direction through working closely with the business units in aligning the portfolio to the strategies and business plan.
Be part of the PM&T of PLCM (product life-cycle management) driving efficiency.
Together with the Head of Strategy & Future Capabilities defining the governance structure for portfolio management at business area-level.
Support the Head of Strategy & Future Capabilities in working with and reporting the total of the business areas commercial products to Group-level
Support the Business units in R&D-investment strategies to ensure a future-adopted portfolio.
Work closely with business development CMI/BI M&A digitalisation innovation and future capabilities to ensure portfolio alignment in shifting landscapes and emerging customer needs.
Balance multiple interfaces and priorities ensuring agile responses to new opportunities and challenges
Your profile
You hold a Masters degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline and bring a strategic mindset with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. You are a confident and collaborative leader who builds trust aligns stakeholders and communicates effectively even in uncertain or complex situations.
You thrive in environments where adaptability teamwork and clear prioritisation are essential always keeping the bigger picture in mind. Experience in the defense sector understanding product lifecycles R&D-investment strategies or multi-domain Army/Battlefield solutions is an advantage but above all it is your leadership strategic thinking and drive to deliver results that will make you successful in this role.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
