The opportunity:
As a Business Development Manager based in Christchurch youll play a key role in strengthening relationships with advisers and financial services providers ensuring they receive exceptional service and support.
Youll be responsible for identifying and capitalising on growth opportunities within your portfolio driving quality sales and contributing to the achievement of AIAs business targets!
Key responsibilities include:
Generating sales that are profitable and meet targets.
Developing a call cycle to ensure regular and appropriate contact is maintained with advisers.
Meeting with advisers as per call plan to develop business and maintain relationships.
Identifying cross-sell opportunities to establish growth areas assessing capability and gaps.
Developing and delivering retention activities.
Providing active feedback and analysis on market and industry trends.
Making recommendations for product development initiatives.
Being an active AIA ambassador and influencer to ensure the brand profile is elevated and key relationships strengthened.
Building strong relationships with our adviser panel to ensure they receive a superior level of service.
Ideally youll bring:
Proven ability to negotiate influence and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
Skilled in coaching and resolving complex challenges with a solutions-focused approach.
Strong relationship-building capabilities at all organisational levels.
Confident and engaging presenter with exceptional interpersonal communication.
Demonstrated success in driving sales enhancing service delivery and improving retention.
Experienced in facilitating workshops delivering training sessions and leading presentations.
Flexible and committed to domestic travel and participation in after-hours events.
