The Public Cloud Tribe is one of the main environments contributing to the Think Forward Strategy Empowering people to stay a step ahead in life and in business. Its the first step towards helping ING engineers consume Public Services in an easy and compliant manner to produce the same products and services throughout the entire world. The Public Cloud Tribes objective is to simplify and streamline the process of onboarding consuming and practicing consistent resource governance in the Public Clouds. The working hours will be 36 hours a week and have a hybrid way of working: from the office in Amsterdam and remotely.
The team
Whats a DevOps Engineer within the Public Cloud Tribe
You will be part of a bigger team that will setup and build tools and processes to help other application developer teams within ING to consume Public Cloud resources in an easy and compliant way. Someone who has hands-on experience building and securing infrastructure in Public Cloud environments.
Roles and responsibilities
Collaborate within the Public Cloud Tribe to support INGs Think Forward Strategy by enabling global consistent delivery of products and services.
Design build and maintain tools and processes that simplify and streamline the onboarding and consumption of Public Cloud resources.
Ensure compliance and governance standards are met across all Public Cloud environments.
Provide infrastructure solutions that are secure scalable and aligned with INGs cloud strategy.
Support and guide application development teams in adopting and using Public Cloud services effectively.
Implement and promote best practices for DevOps and cloud-native development within the organization.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure and automation capabilities.
Participate in cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless integration of cloud services with existing systems.

Your backpack should contain:
3 years Experience as a DevOps Engineer
Hands on knowledge of setting up infrastructure in Azure and GCP (other cloud technologies are a plus)
Fluent with technologies like Containers & Kubernetes
Experience with Infra a code tools like Terraform CI/CD etc
Scripting experience with e.g Python Bash
Knowledge of Java Python or Go are an advantage
Familiar with Agile / Scrum methodology
Strong Team Player and Experience in working with teams cross countries
Your education and background
At least Bachelors degree preferably in Information Technology
Experience with working in high performing Agile IT teams
Certifications and/or proven proficiency in one or more technologies requested
Good understanding of English
