Job Summary
Job Description
Obtain precertification / prior authorizations for surgeries and procedures.
Ensure that all appropriate clinical documentation is present and submitted.
Responsible for ensuring surgical and procedure codes are accurate and in compliance with guidelines and regulations.
Collaborates and communications with the multidisciplinary team including patients.
Responsible responsible for tracking all progress of authorizations.
Presents a courteous and helpful demeanor to all patients visitors other employee/medical staff members or any other person an employee encounters while representing the Neurosurgery clinic.
Additional duties as assigned.
