Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Performance Tester to join our innovative technology department.

The Performance Tester will work collaboratively with wider teams to help such as QA Engineers DevOps Platform Engineers and Software Engineers to develop and build esures future performance testing capability.

We are looking for a pure performance specialist ideally with Gatling or similar experience and good knowledge of Java. This role isnt just about writing scripts its about diving deep into performance analysis mastering debugging and pinpointing exactly where the bottlenecks are holding things back

 

What youll do:

  • Member of multi-discipline team shaping esures future performance testing capability
  • Proactively improves application performance reliability processes and continuous improvement culture
  • Defines tests and reports NFRs across customer journeys and services
  • Delivers automated performance load stress and endurance testing to meet requirements
  • Uses leading tools like Gatling JMeter and k6 for testing
  • Builds and maintains frameworks integrating with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
  • Creates and delivers end-to-end performance test strategies and plans
  • Drives testing improvements automation and active engagement in testing communities

Qualifications :

What wed love you to bring:

  • A background in software testing and performance testing
  • Experience with object orientated programming preferably Java Selenium and TestNg/Junit. Experience with API testing is also essential.
  • Must have experience in automation testing where you have actively created and maintained frameworks.
  • Skilled in comprehending intricate systems that include API serverless options legacy Java platforms and databases.
  • Proficient in deciphering intricate systems that involve a blend of API serverless solutions outdated java infrastructures and databases
  • Previous background working within high traffic highly transactional online environments
  • Experience of working in an agile SCRUM & Dev Ops delivery model

The Interview Process (subject to change):

  • Youll start with an introductory call with one of our Talent Partners. This is a get to know you session and for you to explore the position in more detail.
  • 1st stage interview: 30 minute interview with one of our QA Leads
  • 2nd stage: 1 hour technical interview to showcase your automation and software engineering skills and experience with one of our QA Leads and Senior QA Engineers.
