The Australian Catholic Youth Festival (ACYF or the Festival) serves as a beacon of hope culminating our Jubilee Year celebrations by empowering young people to encounter Christ and give witness to the hope that does not disappoint Jesus Christ.
Festival Role:
As part of the Festival experience a dedicated and beautifully prepared space called Mercy Park will be set aside within the venue for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Designed to be quiet prayerful and inviting Mercy Park will be a sacred space of encounter where young people can experience the mercy and healing of God through the sacrament of confession.
If you are a priest on current appointment within the Archdiocese of Melbourne and you are registered as a priest pilgrim for the ACYF and have availability to participate please register below. Festival days are as follows:
Your priestly presence in Mercy Park will be a profound gift to the thousands of young people attending the Festival offering them a tangible encounter with Gods love and forgiveness during this significant moment in their lives.

Additional Information:
Priests volunteering to hear confessions will be required to sign in and out upon arrival at the Festival.
