The Academic Coordinator is a core member of the interdisciplinary team reporting to the Academic Director. This role is responsible in supporting our Academic Director with organizing and managing the academic program supporting classroom structure and ensuring that each student receives the educational support they need. The Academic Coordinator collaborates closely with therapists teachers and families to align academic goals with therapeutic objectives.

Chrysalis in Eureka is a year-round therapeutic boarding school dedicated to supporting adolescent girls through a holistic approach that integrates clinical care experiential learning and academic growth. Our dedicated Academic Team provides personalized academic planning and credit recovery support tailored to each students unique therapeutic journey.

Responsibilities

Facilitate daily academic engagement and provide individualized support or tutoring as needed.
Maintain classroom organization and ensure a structured supportive learning environment.
Request and manage student records and transcripts; ensure timely access to academic materials.
Collaborate with therapists teachers and residential staff to align academic plans with therapeutic goals.
Communicate regularly with parents and participate in treatment team meetings to support student progress.

Qualifications

21 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent ;associates or bachelors in education related field a plus but not a requirement!
Abilityto pass pre-employment drug screenin concordancewithMontana state laws
Abilityto passfederal and statebackground checks
CurrentMontanadrivers licenseor ability to obtain a Montana drivers license upon hire
Abilityto perform CPR andFirst Aid
Ability to applyprovided trainingin safe verbal de-escalation and physical intervention withan upset or combative client
Preferred - one year of experience working with adolescent populations and education experience
