The estimated hourly base pay rate for this position is $23 per hour.This role is also eligible for S&Cs annual short-term incentive bonus subject to eligibility criteria.

The Maintenance Technician - Intermediate (Production Equipment) is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment. This role requires a solid understanding of basic repair principles across multiple areas including mechanical electrical and other systems. The Technician performs preventive maintenance troubleshoot issues and ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently. They will work independently on routine tasks while adhering to all safety and compliance guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform basic to moderate repairs on production equipment including mechanical electrical and pneumatic systems.
Troubleshoot equipment issues by reading control diagrams electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication adjustments and minor installations.
Assist in identifying root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions.
Operate hand tools basic power tools and testing equipment for diagnostics and repairs.
Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software ensuring all repairs and preventive maintenance activities are logged.
Follow established safety procedures including lockout/tagout to ensure the safe operation of equipment.
Conduct component testing to verify proper function and identify potential issues with electrical components.
Willingness to learn and complete specialized training in various areas of production equipment maintenance.
Meet department targets and consistently adhere to quality and safety standards.
Display a willingness to perform physical tasks such as lifting carrying and standing for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.
What youll Need To Succeed:
High School Diploma.
A drivers license in good standing
2 years of experience in mechanical or electrical repair roles such as automotive or industrial maintenance.
Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems including electrical components and voltages.
Willingness to complete additional training as required by the company.
Sound attention to detail with the ability to adequately maintain and repair production equipment consistently.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
Ability to work independently and meet requirements of assigned repair requests.
Ability to use basic hand tools (i.e. Screwdrivers hammers etc.) and power tools.
Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and be trained in repairing various equipment within an industrial setting.
Sound communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to articulate information efficiently and effectively to team members in a variety of departments.
Good interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to understand and complete requests given by team member inside and outside of the department.
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and CMMS software.
Good math skills with the ability to calculate quantities weights and measurements.
Ability and willingness to follow Health Safety & Environment procedures accurately reporting concerns promptly to the safety action team.
