As the Commercialization Manager you will be responsible for facilitating cross-functional teams to launch new products through critical checkpoints by supportive and positive business partner interactions. The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end product launches ensuring all deliverables are completed on-time and within budget.. We are looking for a team player who can collaborate with multiple departments at the same time and keep all teams accountable.
Key responsibilities:
- Reports to the VP of Development based in Barcelona Spain.
- Provide direction and general project management including scope schedule and resource planning.
- Determine the complexity level of new product/project initiatives and proactively engage the right cross-functional skills required to develop a successful commercialization plan.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to promote commercialization processes within Sales Finance Marketing Procurement Quality and Operations.
- Analyze projects identify risk and manage all resources efficiently.
- Identify issues in functional processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvements then implement.
- Maintain and provide training on the product development process and project management tools.
- Maintain and continually update and manage stakeholders on the status of projects decision points successes and learnings.
- Proactively uses ERP for Bill of Material creation and new developments on items.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Possess strong organizational interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong systems skills including MS Office (Excel Word Outlook) G Suite and ERP systems (SAP Business One preferred).
- Has demonstrated skills in commercialization project management and the ability to influence an organization.
- Able to work in a cross functional environment with team leadership experience strategic planning and financial management.
- Must be able to understand the total impact of the project on the entire organization and optimize its integration.
- Extensive experience managing multiple projects involving product development from concept through commercialization in a fast paced high pressure environment where change is frequent.
- Must be able to work independently analyze problems and make decisions with minimal management intervention
Education and experience:
- 4 years experience in project degree in Food Science Agribusiness Supply Chain or a related field.
- Certifications in Project Management (PMP) New Product Development Professional (NPDP) and/or Agile/Scrum certifications (CSM PMI-ACP) are a plus.
Work environment:
- Remote work available but candidates must be living in close proximity to our satellite office in Elmhurst IL or Austin TX.
