Job Summary

Key Activities/Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees and managers
  • Understand company policies and procedures and respond to inquiries regarding same
  • Contribute to the modification and improvement of departmental processes and workflows
  • Perform basic recruiting activities including sourcing candidates reviewing applications and schedule interviews
  • Administers the termination process for all separations.
  • Prepare new hire packets and assist in new hire orientation
  • Create and maintain personnel and medical files properly
  • Comply with company records retention and destruction policies
  • Order credit cards and business cards for new hires when applicable
  • Create employee change forms
  • Complete verification of employment (VOE) requests
  • Verify dependent eligibility for benefits (view and submit supporting documents)
  • Enter and maintain information in HRIS accurately
  • Confirm health insurance audit from Corporate
  • Reset passwords in HRIS (UltiPro)
  • Keep digital signage system (ScreenCloud) content up to date
  • Create and distribute monthly company newsletter
  • Monitor company supply room for replenishment
  • Create new user accounts in company travel program (Egencia)
  • Complete employer section of Form I-9 for all new hires and file properly separate from personnel files
  • Complete online E-Verification for all new hires
  • Annual Internal I-9 Audit
  • Organize/coordinate existing and develop new programs to support company culture i.e. employee activities including but not limited to holiday parties luncheons onsite flu shot clinic annual chili cookoff Thanksgiving Potluck Secret Santa anniversaries
  • Organize and coordinate food and beverage for meetings and any large-scale events as required this includes setup and teardown.
  • Performs other HR duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • 2 - 5 years of a combination of related HR
  • Previous experience working with UKG Workforce Management is preferred
  • Knowledge of basic employment law benefits administration absence management and workers compensation is extremely helpful.
  • Basic knowledge of state and federal laws policies and procedures as it relates to Human Resources
  • Excellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills Language
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational skills an attention to detail
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint

Pay Transparency: Anticipated starting wage: $25.00/hr DOE Annual Bonus
