We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Claims & Recoveries Specialist to join our Trade Credit Insurance operations team. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end claims process ensuring timely and accurate claim assessments and pursuing recoveries from defaulting buyers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process claims submitted by policyholders in accordance with policy terms.
- Investigate claim validity including analysis of buyer insolvency payment default and supporting documentation.
- Liaise with policyholders brokers legal teams and external recovery agents.
- Initiate and manage recovery actions including negotiations litigation and insolvency proceedings.
- Maintain accurate records of claims and recovery activities in internal systems.
- Provide insights and feedback to underwriting and risk teams based on claims trends.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Law Finance Business or a related field.
- 25 years of experience in claims handling debt recovery or credit insurance.
- Strong understanding of trade credit insurance policies and legal recovery processes.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines with precision.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with international recoveries and cross-border insolvency.
- Familiarity with legal frameworks in key export markets.
