Job Summary

Were looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Payroll Advisor to join our Finance team. This isnt just a processing role were seeking someone with a solid fundamental understanding of end to end payroll operations who can confidently navigate the full payroll lifecycle and contribute to continuous improvement.

As a Payroll Advisor youll be part of a well-established team responsible for processing payroll for over 20000 crew members every fortnight plus two monthly payrolls for our salaried staff. Youll be involved in everything from running payroll cycles and resolving queries to supporting system implementations and shaping future processes.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Oversee and execute accurate timely payroll for both fortnightly and monthly cycles
  • Resolve payroll queries with professionalism and a customer-first mindset
  • Support the implementation of new systems and processes including our transition to Zellis ResourceLink
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet department-wide goals
  • Safeguard payroll data integrity and security
  • Assist with year-end processing reporting and compliance

Qualifications :

What Youll Need:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in full end-to-end payroll
  • CIPP qualification (or working towards it)
  • Strong grasp of UK payroll and pension legislation
  • Experience in a fast-paced change-driven environment
  • A mindset geared toward continuous improvement and problem-solving
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel
  • Experience with Zellis HCM ResourceLink is a plus
  • Familiarity with SOX controls RRS PowerBI or system implementation is advantageous
