Job Summary
Reporting to the Associate Director Genesis Portfolio Operations this is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic fast-growing organization in Financial Services.
- Reconcile validate and book FOF trading activities in a timely and accurate manner.
- Review/book daily cash transactions of clients that are under the target operating model.
- Work collaboratively with Client Service team in the Hedge Fund trade execution process to create efficiencies and reduce processing time.
- Perform investment daily quantity reconciliation between the Security Master and the related accounting system.
- Work to address FOF trade related enquiries and issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned and incidental to the work described above (i.e. underlying fund price review and back testing possibly GAV review etc.)
Qualifications :
- A university degree in Finance Business Computer Science Mathematics Accounting or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in a relevant role within the fund administration industry or an equivalent blend of professional and educational experience
- Prior experience in fund administration or the asset management industry is considered an asset
- Willingness and ability to relocate to Halifax Nova Scotia
