Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier Front of House to join our team in Belleville Canada. As the first point of contact for our customers you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for everyone who visits our establishment.
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Operate the cash register and process various forms of payment accurately
- Handle cash credit card and other transactions efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services
- Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service preferred
- Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Strong cash handling skills and basic math abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
- Flexible availability 6am to 2pm
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
