Job Summary

University of Maryland Saint Joseph Medical Center (UMSJMC) a member of the University of Maryland Medical System and located in Towson Maryland has an excellent opportunity available for a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team.

Job Specifics:
   Seeking an experienced hardworking detail-oriented NP/PA who embraces a collaborative approach to patient care to join our new hospitalist APP team.
   This new model will be 24-7 geographically located APP coverage for our Hospitalist team.
   In-house nocturnist and intensivist support at night.
   Flexible weekend rotation
   NPs must be Acute Care-certified
   Leapfrog grade A #1 Community Hospital in Maryland US News and World Report

Qualifications :

Education

Masters Degree (Required)

Certification / Licensure / Registration

Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License (Required)

Experience and Skills

2 - 4 years previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant working in internal medicine preferably in a hospital setting (Preferred)
Internal Medicine Training experience (Preferred)
Strong Verbal Communications Skills Strong Written Communications Skills Excellent
Interpersonal Skills Basic Computer Skills Excellent Organizational Skills Strong Customer Services Skills
Proven Analytical Skills
