Software Engineer (.NET, React, SQL Server, Azure)

As a Software Engineer at NIQ Brandbank in the T4 job band youll be contributing to the development of our products while continuing to grow your technical and professional skills. This role sits between Junior and Mid-Level responsibilities offering opportunities to work independently on tasks while receiving guidance from more experienced team members. 

How Youll Contribute 

Youll participate in agile ceremonies develop features fix bugs and support releases. Youll collaborate with teammates and product owners take ownership of your work and contribute to team goals with increasing autonomy.

Responsibilities 

Agile Delivery & Sprint Participation 

• Attend sprint ceremonies including planning refinement standups and retrospectives. 
• Collaborate with product owners and teammates to understand requirements and user stories. 
• Estimate tasks and manage your own work with regular updates. 

Development & Code Quality 

• Develop features and fix bugs using the Brandbank tech stack (.NET React SQL Server Azure). 
• Write clean maintainable code with appropriate unit tests. 
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to maintaining code quality. 
• Assist with release activities and provide support for live environments. 

Team Collaboration & Growth 

• Work closely with developers and testers to deliver sprint goals. 
• Seek feedback and mentorship to improve your technical and professional skills. 
• Contribute ideas for improvement and participate in team discussions. 
• Demonstrate new functionalities to stakeholders with support from senior team members. 

Qualifications :

Technical Skills 

• Experience (C#) MVC and SQL Server. 
• Exposure to React JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end development. 
• Familiarity with Azure services and cloud concepts. 
• Understanding of unit testing and version control (GIT). 
• Willingness to learn new technologies and tools. 

Professional Experience 

• Degree or equivalent experience in software engineering or related field. 
• Experience working in agile environments and across the product lifecycle. 
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset. 
• Ability to manage tasks independently with support when needed.
