Job Summary
Job Description:
Own and drive large-scale data engineering programs end-to-end from requirements to delivery. Engage with internal and external stakeholders including client technology and business teams to define program goals and ensure alignment with business objectives. Architect scalable robust and secure data solutions leveraging modern data platforms (cloud on-prem hybrid).Lead cross-functional teams comprising data engineers architects analysts and project managers. Ensure adherence to best practices in data architecture ETL/ELT development data quality and data governance. Oversee budgeting resource planning delivery timelines and program KPIs. Proactively identify risks dependencies and blockers; provide timely resolutions Drive continuous improvement through innovation automation and adoption of modern tech stacks. Act as a trusted advisor to clients translating business needs into actionable technical solutions.
Must Have: 12 years of experience in Data Engineering with at least 35 years in program or delivery leadership roles. Certified expertise in cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS Redshift Azure Data Lake GCP Big Query Snowflake).Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools data pipelines and data warehousing (e.g. Apache Airflow DBT Informatica Talend).Proficiency in data modeling SQL and programming languages such as Python or Scala. Deep understanding of data architecture patterns including batch and streaming pipelines. Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar programs with global delivery teams.
Strong program/project management skills Agile Scrum or PMP certification is a plus.
Exceptional client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in analytics platforms or tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau Looker).Experience in managing offshore/onshore teamsPrior consulting experience with Fortune 500 with DevOps and CI/CD practices in the data environment
Qualifications :
Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field12 years of hands-on experience
