Job Summary

The Job Mission
This is a hybrid role based at our Bristol (Aztec West) office typically three days per week. We can only consider those within a commutable distance though relocation support may be offered.
Youll play a key role in designing and maintaining the fire detection systems for a major nuclear project ensuring technical accuracy system integration and full lifecycle compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce and update documentation for fire detection systems
  • Design and verify control logic and interface configurations
  • Support system design construction and commissioning activities
  • Review and maintain safety environmental and operating specifications
  • Ensure full integration of 3D models and functional diagrams
  • Manage modification requests and validate technical feasibility
  • Collaborate across engineering teams to ensure design consistency

 


Qualifications :

Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical /Electronic Engineering or similar discpline
  • Knowledge of fire detection and protection systems
  • Experience in system design testing or documentation development
  • Proven ability to review and manage technical documentation
  • Familiarity with BS 7671 and IEC 60909 electrical standards
  • Background in nuclear power generation or heavy industrial sectors
  • Proficient in design tools and engineering data systems
