Job Summary
The Job Mission
This is a hybrid role based at our Bristol (Aztec West) office typically three days per week. We can only consider those within a commutable distance though relocation support may be offered.
Youll play a key role in designing and maintaining the fire detection systems for a major nuclear project ensuring technical accuracy system integration and full lifecycle compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Produce and update documentation for fire detection systems
- Design and verify control logic and interface configurations
- Support system design construction and commissioning activities
- Review and maintain safety environmental and operating specifications
- Ensure full integration of 3D models and functional diagrams
- Manage modification requests and validate technical feasibility
- Collaborate across engineering teams to ensure design consistency
Qualifications :
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical /Electronic Engineering or similar discpline
- Knowledge of fire detection and protection systems
- Experience in system design testing or documentation development
- Proven ability to review and manage technical documentation
- Familiarity with BS 7671 and IEC 60909 electrical standards
- Background in nuclear power generation or heavy industrial sectors
- Proficient in design tools and engineering data systems
