In your role you will be responsible for overseeing and managing API divisional projects and serve as a liaison between the project team and the stakeholders. You will partner with the API Leadership Team EHS Supply Chain Quality etc. on site master planning to define improvement projects aligned with business strategy. Youll manage projects and their budgets prepare status reports and support your project teams.
Through your expertise and API involvement you will help expand our culture promoting on-time project delivery and innovation in operations.
What You Will Achieve
In this role you will:
Analyzes and oversees operational and API-wide improvement projects including those that are process-related EHS-related Quality/Compliance-related and/or Capacity-related working with project timelines to improve the companys production capabilities within regulations and cGMP guidelines. Activities may include designing and estimating new projects coordinating project approval with site-wide stakeholders managing project execution through project teams (including facilitating meetings issuing meeting minutes and publishing leadership updates. May establish or assist in establishing contingency plans for projects and may train personnel concerning new compliance initiatives.

Applies extensive technical and industry-specific expertise and has full knowledge of the requirements of other related disciplines. Demonstrated skills in leading planning and developing successful business processes/business units.

Ability to gather analyze and interpret relate and compare information from multiple sources and identify cause and effect relationships. Develops and recommends projects and strategies to meet future needs.
Guide the successful completion of major programs as the project leader. Contribute to achievement of API-division plant and/or global goals. Ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Erroneous decisions or recommendations or failure to complete assignments would normally result in serious delays to assigned projects resulting in considerable expenditure of more resources. Monitor and manage the efforts of project teams to achieve delivery of short-term to mid-term goals. Lead and motivate others generating commitment and a shared sense of purpose. Empower others to contribute their best.
Represents the organization as the project leader. Interacts with senior internal and/or external personnel on matters often requiring coordination between organizations. Frequent contacts with internal personnel and outside customer representatives at various management levels concerning operations or scheduling of specific phases of projects or contracts. Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings for internal and external representatives concerning specific operations. Actively involved in daily project needs. Accomplishes results through project team members who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments. May head a centralized functional activity.
Projects and tasks covering short-term (1 to 3 months) mid-term (3 to 6 months) and long-term (6 months to 1years) deliverables; Work measured at milestones.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
Applicants must have a bachelors degree with at least 4 years of experience; OR a masters degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a PhD with 0 years of experience; OR as associates degree with 8 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience
Strong leadership and influencing capabilities across all organizational levels
Significant API manufacturing experience.
Effective written and oral communication
Microsoft Applications
Bonus Points if you have (preferred requirements)
Degree on engineering highly preferred.
Physical/Mental Requirements
Frequent time in the manufacturing area around equipment with moving parts stair climbing roof access.
Non-Standard Work Schedule Travel or Environment Requirements
Office environment with frequent time in the manufacturing. Use of hearing and eye protection is required.
Colleagues must be willing to work off-shift and weekends when project demands require it.
