Position Summary
Job Summary:
The Technical Program Manager (TPM) will manage and guide the Game Development Kit (GDK) development teams throughout the development life cycle and communicate status dependencies and risks to the internal GDK stakeholders. The primary focus of Senior TPM is to be accountable for translating GDK stakeholder requirements into a tangible development deliverable and ensuring the team has the appropriate environment to develop and test their GDK solutions across the UK US social and web product environments. They will provide program guidance to the Chief Architect and Senior Director Software Engineering to ensure GDK development efforts are delivered on time and within scope.
Our studio is located in Raleigh North Carolina.
This role requires full-time on-site presence with plans to move to a hybrid structure as the studio matures.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for all aspects of the Game Development Kit (GDK) development effort from conception to release.
- Focus on delivering new products or upgrading existing products. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget
- Collaborate across the organization from the CTO key organizational stakeholders to the individual development teams.
- Responsible for coordinating with other organizations as well as third party resources to ensure development deliveries are on time and at quality.

Training and/or Experience
- 8 years in program management required
- Experience in gaming preferred
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Thorough understanding of Software Design Life Cycle (SDLC) and leading-edge technologies
- Understanding of modeling and design software development software and databases
- Solid organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure on high visibility programs.
- High aptitude for problem solving.
- Self-directed and highly motivated.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently with little or no supervision.
- Strong written verbal and presentation skills.
- Integrity lead the teams by example.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in related field required
- PMP certification preferred
