Job Summary
Visas Internship Program provides an immersive 12-week journey where youll work on impactful projects that drive Visas mission forward. The experience culminates in an exciting final presentation where youll showcase your project achievements share key insights and present your recommendations to Visas leaders and stakeholders. The North America Financial Institutions Sales Strategy and Operations Intern will assist with various tasks and projects to support the Sponsor Bank segment. This role involves working with different cross-functional teams to help deliver growth to Visas sponsor bank partners enhance risk management improve the sponsorship ecosystem and support operational excellence.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Participate in cross-functional projects to refine existing strategies to drive growth for Visas sponsor bank partners.
- Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to identify client pain points and assist in launching new products/services.
- Help with creating frameworks and processes to improve specialized sales for Sponsorship in collaboration with Super Regional Regional and Community FI Sales teams.
- Support the alignment and implementation of strategies and operating models for the Sponsor Bank segment.
- Support the process of tracking and measuring sales objectives to improve collaboration pipeline management goal setting and recognition.
- Help monitor market trends activities and competitor actions to support the development of strategies and plans for clients.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
- Students pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Finance Business Economics or related field with a graduation date in December 2026-August 2027
- Strong communications skills specifically the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors clear and concise written and spoken communications that demonstrate professional judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in MS Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Basic knowledge of payment products.
- Proactive self-starter and strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Process-oriented with the ability to document processes and achieve goals across multiple tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other functional areas to understand operational issues.
- Client-focused with a determination to resolve issues and conflicts.
- Curious mindset and a hands-on approach to all activities with real passion for the payments industry.
Additional Information :
U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated hourly range for a new hire into this position is $26/hr to $30/hr which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location.
Work Authorization: Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position. Future sponsorship will not be considered.
Work Hours:Varies upon the needs of the department
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Travel Requirements:This position requires travel5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements:This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.
