Our affiliate Unified Womens Healthcare of the Carolinas is looking for a Womens Health Nurse Practitioner to join their prestigious Womens Health Care Center in Rocky Mount NC. Position Highlights:
Join an established and successful practice that has served the Rocky Mount area for over 50 years.
1 state of the art office location in Rocky Mount conveniently located very close to the UNC Health Nash Hospital.
The practice team consists of 5 OB/GYN physicians 2 certified nurse midwives 1 womens health nurse practitioner and a great administrative support team.
Duties include seeing patients completing charting calling back patients with labs answering patient phone calls patient education sending prescriptions electronically or by phone and administering medication among other patient care duties.
4.5 days per week work schedule with no nights weekends call or hospital shifts.
Patient Census in Clinic: up to 22-24 per day.
Nurse practitioner will see more gynecology but also obstetrics patients in clinic. Will also perform and assist with some minimally invasive procedures that can be completed in the office such as endometrial biopsies and ultrasound guided IUD insertions per your skills/preference.

Requirements:
National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
Unrestricted active licensure in the State or ability to obtain
Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
CPR and BLS Certification or ability to obtain
Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
Ability to communicate with patients team members and management staff
Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
One year of full-time experience as a Womens Health Nurse Practitioner is preferred
