Blue Prism Developer RPA Engineer

Position Description:

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Blue Prism Developer with a strong background in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to design develop test and deploy automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and accuracy. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Blue Prism development control room management and process optimization along with a solid understanding of RPA best practices and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and deploy Blue Prism automation solutions as per business requirements.
Collaborate with process SMEs and business analysts to identify and assess automation opportunities.
Develop reusable and efficient process objects workflows and components within Blue Prism.
Configure test and debug automation workflows ensuring high quality and reliability.
Manage Control Room operations monitor bot performance and handle exceptions proactively.
Perform code reviews version control and maintain proper documentation for all automation projects.
Integrate Blue Prism with external systems (e.g. APIs databases web services).
Ensure all automations adhere to RPA governance security and compliance standards.
Work closely with infrastructure and support teams to maintain RPA environments and perform upgrades or patches.
Participate in production support and resolve incidents or enhancement requests in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Experience:
78 years of total IT experience with 4 years of hands-on experience in Blue Prism.
Strong expertise in designing and developing automation workflows using Blue Prism Studio and Object Studio.
Proficiency in Blue Prism Control Room operations scheduling and queue management.
Experience in process assessment design documentation (PDD SDD) and process re-engineering.
Familiarity with database interactions (SQL Server Oracle) and data handling in Blue Prism.
Understanding of Blue Prism architecture security model and deployment methods.
Experience integrating Blue Prism with applications through web services APIs Excel SAP and Citrix.
Knowledge of version control systems (Git TFS) and release management processes.
Exposure to RPA governance frameworks best practices and Center of Excellence (CoE) setup.

Good to Have:
Hands-on experience in other RPA tools such as UiPath or Automation Anywhere.
Exposure to or VB scripting for advanced automation scenarios.
Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
Certification: Blue Prism Developer / Professional Developer / Solution Designer.
Understanding of AI/ML integration with RPA and intelligent automation (IA) concepts.
