This Position reports to:

Technical Training Manager


Join ABBs Electrification team as a Technical Trainer and become the driving force behind empowering customers and partners with the knowledge they need to succeed. Youll lead hands-on high-impact training sessions that demystify electrical panel schedule take-offs OEM power and control circuits and ABBs cutting-edge electrical products.

This isnt just a teaching roleits a chance to shape how the industry learns works and grows.

The work model for the role is: Remote #LI-Remote

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in United States.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the training journey

  • OEM power and control circuit design and interpretation

  • Knowledge of ABBs portfolio of electrical products and solutions

  • Pre-training: Develop materials coordinate logistics and tailor content to audience needs

  • Training delivery: Facilitate in-person and virtual sessions with clarity confidence and technical depth

  • Post-training: Gather feedback assess effectiveness and continuously improve content


Job Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in engineering business administration or related field

  • Deep knowledge of electrical systems panel schedules and OEM circuit design

  • 3 years of experience in technical instruction or training delivery

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Self-sufficiency and motivationyou take initiative and own your outcomes

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across North America

  • Ability to work independently from any location

ABBs Distribution Solutions Division facilitates the efficient and reliable distribution protection and control of power by improving electric power quality while strengthening the resilience of the grid. The Division offers segment-specific products and solutions that largely serve utilities industry and infrastructure segments often providing the requisite medium-voltage link between high-voltage transmission systems and low-voltage users. With ABB Ability enabled connected solutions at its core the offering includes medium-voltage air- and gas-insulated switchgear (1 to 66 kilovolts) indoor and outdoor circuit breakers reclosers fuses contactors relays instrument transformers sensors motor control centers as well as low-voltage switchgear for the ANSI standard markets.

ABB provides 11 paid holidays. Vacation is provided based on years of service for hourly and non-exempt positions. Salaried exempt positions are provided vacation under a permissive time away policy.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicants qualifications and experience this position is expected to pay between $98700 and $157920 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
