Job Summary

Responsible for managing sourcing supplier relationships and cost optimization to ensure reliable and efficient supply of materials for our wire and cable production and export business.

  • Work with Regional Purchasing team to manage and coordinate sourcing for raw materials and non-raw material identifying new suppliers to get more competitive prices and achieve cost savings targets for non-raw material and raw material effectively and efficiently.
  • Coordinating and monitoring the delivery schedule of Base Metals Raw Material and Non-Raw suppliers to meet production schedule.
  • Manage PO creation and release and contract release in SAP in line with DOA.
  • Coordinate with QC and Production teams to resolve material rejections or complaints support QC for audit based on quality system requirement.
  • Report KPIs market trends and cost analysis to management.
  • In line with scrap policy managing and coordinating the process scrap buyer tender to determine the most appropriate buyer according to company requirements.
  • Promotes support and push the creation and implementation of Cost Reduction Activities in cooperation with the other departments.

Familiar with safety risks of the position and actively report safety risks.

Approve all stock non-stock & Asset PO from Purchasing and other Departments in line with the new APAC DOA.
