Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Full-Time
Registered Nurse candidates for the Emergency Department will have the following job responsibilities:
- Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care needs.
- Documents patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
- Directs and delegates care to other team members in accordance with their education credentials and demonstrated competence.
- Ensures own professional effectiveness through education and professional development.
- Participates in the development of and maintains established hospital policies procedures and objectives quality improvement safety environmental and infection prevention program.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS-
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
ER - ED/ER
Full-Time
Registered Nurse candidates for the Emergency Department must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
Education
- Required: Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Preferred: Specialty certification
Experience
- Required: Minimum one year of recent Emergency experience required or currently oriented and can provide care independently within the department required. Must demonstrate independent management of cardiac complex med/surg pediatric and multiple trauma patients.
- Demonstrated competence in area of expertise.
Credentials
- Required: Registered Nurse
- Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support
- Required: ACLS according to Resuscitation Training Completion Requirements policy.
- ENPC and TNCC within 12 months of hire or transfer date.
Compensation: $40.09-76.12/hour
