Job Description
We are always looking for talented self-motivated individuals to join our team atMcDonald KIA. Currently we are seeking an enthusiastic self-starter to fill the role of Automotive Technician. A qualified individual will play a key role in ensuring our customers vehicles are in top shape by diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
Responsibilities
As an Automotive Technician you will:
- Diagnose repair and maintain a wide range of vehicles with advanced systems.
- Perform repairs on engines transmissions brakes HVAC systems electrical systems and more.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify mechanical and safety issues.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and technologies to pinpoint and resolve problems efficiently.
- Communicate clearly with service advisors about vehicle issues and recommended repairs.
- Mentor and support junior technicians sharing your expertise and knowledge.
- Ensure all work is completed to industry standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you should have:
- State Certifications are a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools software and repair manuals.
- A valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various physical conditions.
