Joining our team you would develop your knowledge and experience by carrying out advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling for a broad spectrum of clients and industries including oil & gas offshore wind and infrastructure. You would have the opportunity to work with and learn from technical experts to provide consequence modelling and risk assessments such as dispersion fire and explosion modelling among a range of other services.

Skills & Responsibilities:
- Functioning as part of a team of engineers and will mainly provide assistance to other engineers or be responsible under close supervision.
- Complete Kent Graduate Development Programme.
- Undertaking specific tasks / area of work as defined by the lead / principal / senior engineer.
- Execute allocated tasks within the requirements of the project execution plan.
- Executes work in compliance with client specifications Kents ISO accredited QMS and project specific procedures guides and standards.
- Providing input to preparation of deliverables by other engineers.
- Providing input and support to decision making by other engineers.
In addition to the responsibilities listed herein the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employees skills capabilities and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employees current workload and with respect to their professional development.
Yourknowledge/skillseducationandexperience:
- Masters Degree (MEng or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline including relevant fluid mechanics modules.
Communication:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with others in the team as well as clients.
- Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.
Behaviour/ Core Competencies:
- High level of MS Office skills including Word Excel Outlook & Teams.
- Flexible enthusiastic and methodical in your approach to project work.
- Self-motivated & comfortable taking responsibility across a range of tasks.
- A desire to work collaboratively with a curious approach challenging yourself to find new solutions.
- Enthusiasm and drive to develop your skillset and seek out development opportunities within a supportive team.
- A passion for working in a consultancy environment.
- Analytical and problem solving mindset.
