As an intern for HIG PSE IE Management you will be part of the HIG PSE IE team in managing and optimizing the High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) sample workflow with a focus on data analytics and dashboard development. This role offers hands-on experience in semiconductor sample logistics process documentation and business intelligence. The intern will collaborate with engineering planning and operations teams to drive improvements in workflow efficiency and data-driven decision-making.

Project Scope:

HBM Sample Management Operations

• Mapping and documenting the end-to-end HBM sample workflow (die bank probe test shipment).
• Tracking and disposition of remnant lots using MES and SAP systems.
• Observe and report on manual operations such as wafer flipping kitting and tagging.

Data Analytics & Dashboard Building

• Collect clean and analyze operational data from sample management processes.
• Develop interactive dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) for WIP tracking risk monitoring and performance analytics.
• Automate data pipelines and reporting using Python SQL or Power Automate.

Process Improvement & Documentation

• Identify workflow bottlenecks and propose process enhancements.
• Prepare clear documentation and visual guides for sample management procedures.
• Summarize findings and present recommendations to stakeholders.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with planners engineers and IT teams to understand system integrations and operational handoffs.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to team discussions on process optimization and analytics.

Project Description

• Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Engineering Systems Engineering Computer Science Data Science or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with data analysis tools (Excel Power BI Tableau Python SQL).
• Interest in semiconductor manufacturing workflow optimization and business intelligence.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes.
